This album is great! It's perfect for ayurvedic massage. I thinkonce in a while there are few annoying "twangs" of the stringinstrument (sitar?) but overall it is totally relaxing. Itdefinitely gives the eastern/indian vibe, and though I imagine noteveryone would love it, it is perfect for my practice. Listen tothe samples first, they are a good indication of what you will get.I love the flute mixed in, it definitely softens the otherinstruments.

These father and son sitar masters are the real deal. 'Pt' ShivnathMishra and his son Deobrat Mishra are 11th generation masters fromBenares, India on the Ganges. They tour the west coast every summerand people absolutely love their music. Every year they get betterand better. RAGA CYCLE is a great album that features their sitarcollaborations along with Dean Evenson's spiritual flute music andthe vocal harmonies of two gifted singers. It is not as fast assome sitar music so it can work for massage and healing and ofcourse is great for yoga! Highly recommended.
